“We Believe In Your Child Too” was BLESSED to present The Rob Deibler Student Excellent Leadership Award to Aaliah Ahmed.
Rob Deibler, former Steelton-Highspire quarterback standout and coaching legend LOVED Steel-High, the community, and the people it represents. Rob led the Rollers to a District III championship as a player and his leadership as a head coach also led the Rollers to three Class-A State Championships. He is LOVED and missed by many. I had the pleasure of coaching with Rob at Bishop McDevitt High School (‘96-’98). At McDevitt, I enjoyed his friendship and witnessed his incredible ability to motivate and inspire young men. Our True Colors program will carry his memory with us and I/we will honor our friendship with an annual award in Rob’s honor.

Aaliah Ahmed is a senior graduating with a 3,89 GPA and plans to attend Penn State University majoring in Finance.in the fall of 2002. Aaliah received over 10 scholarship awards during senior day celebration. She received over $20,000 in scholarships and more than 10 businesses or intuitions invested in her abilities. Those businesses like ours believe that in order to CHANGE our communities we must invest in our young people.

Aaliah was also a member of our True Colors programs.
